Pop-It Chocolate Recipe

Pop-It sensory toys are loads of fun! But did you know that you can use them to make chocolate?!

REMEMBER: always ask permission from an adult before cooking or baking.


What you need:

  • A Pop-It toy

  • M&M’s, Pebbles or Skittles

  • Baking chocolate

  • Small sauce pan

  • Large heat-proof bowl

  • Mixing spoon


What to do:

  1. Wash your Pop-It sensory toy in warm soapy water.

  2. Put the baking chocolate in your heat-proof bowl and get an adult to help you put it on top of a saucepan that has boiling water in it.

  3. Stir the chocolate constantly until it’s melted.

  4. Put a Skittle, Pebble or M&M in each Pop-It hole.

  5. Carefully pour or spoon the melted chocolate on top of each Skittle/M&M/Pebble.
    Be careful are the bowl and chocolate will be hot!

  6. Put the Pop-It in the fridge so that the chocolate will harden.

  7. When the chocolate is hard, pop out the pieces of chocolate from the Pop-It… which is the best bit!
